The American Red Cross’ Babysitter’s Training course, which will be held at the Huntersville Arts and Culture Center, has a unique interactive, educational format that tasks youth, ages 11 - 14 years of age, with activities such as identifying safety problems around the house and yard and selecting age-appropriate toys and games for children in their care.

Participants learn by doing. This format, along with the course video and an enthusiastic instructor, keeps the interest of the babysitters and provides a meaningful classroom experience. The class will be held Saturday, May 24, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and costs $25. Call 704-664-2500.
